Videx has a new series of digital door entry panels with features for building access control.
　　The 4212 panel is vandal resistant and the makers say suited to low, medium and high-rise apartments, student rooms, businesses and housing association properties. It adds to the company's range of digital door panels but carries the firm adds more advanced features. It is also Secured by Design accredited, the official police initiative for designing out crime through crime prevention products.
　　Other features include an integrated wide angle (155 degrees) 570k pixel camera and proximity reader. The 4212, which can call up to 1000 apartments, includes coded access for up to 2800 codes. Proximity access can be self-contained for up to 2800 users or the integral reader can be used with the access control system or third party access control supporting the Wiegand protocol.
