Hanwha Techwin has launched the Wisenet X series of cameras, with an embedded proprietary chipset.

    Lee Man-Seob, President and CEO of the Hanwha Techwin Security Business Group, said: “Wisenet 5, our latest chipset, offers extremely high performance. It’s at the core of Hanwha Techwin’s competitiveness. The Wisenet X series is our first product range to use this single chip solution. As a result, our new 5 megapixel and 2 megapixel camera lineups will redefine industry standards, not only with exceptionally sharp images, but also with much faster image processing and upgraded functions.”

    The X series offers 150dB WDR (wide dynamic range), image stabilisation using gyro sensors and images 24-7 including in low-light. The products use WiseStream II, the second generation of Hanwha Techwin’s compression technology, and have a variety of on-board analytics.

    The video surveillance product company says that by adding the X series to the recently released Wisenet Q and P series, it has now established a full line-up, from entry level, to high-performance products for all vertical sectors.

    该视频监控产品公司表示，通过将Wisenet X系列摄像机加入到最近发布的Wisenet Q 和 P 系列摄像机，这使得它建立起了从入门级到高性能产品的完整产品线。
