Founded in 2004 by leading players of the Russian security market. Uniting companies from all possible sectors of the security market, RASI strives to form a favorable environment for the development of Russian security industry. RASI’s activities include organization of trade exhibitions and conferences; participation in the development of relevant regulatory acts and standards; promotion of innovative solutions by its members in Russia and abroad; cooperation and coordination of activities with foreign and international trade associations.



    In its activities RASI enjoys support and cooperation on the part of relevant state agencies and ministries as well as of the State Duma (Parliament of Russia) and municipal authorities. Members of RASI participate in the work of the public security advisory boards of the Duma and Moscow City Council, and, as experts, contribute to the trade legislative and regulatory activities of various state agencies. At the international level has established fruitful working relations with security industry associations in the Americas, Asia and Europe. Seeking to advance beneficial international standards, trade policies, education and certification programs, and market research, RASI became one of the founders of the Global Security Industry Alliance.

    Russia’s economic growth and quite a number of public security-oriented projects (state program Safe City, preparations for the 2014 Olympics and other upcoming large scale public and political events) contribute to the rapid development of the national security market. RASI, uniting the leaders of the industry, advocates the role played by private security businesses and welcomes innovative solutions and any other initiatives offered by domestic and foreign companies of the trade to benefit public security in Russia and worldwide.

    RASI is a supporting association the major annual trade show in Russia and Eastern Europe, the Moscow International Forum Security and Safety Technologies.  The event is organized by Reed Exhibitions and takes place February 3-6, 2009, Crocus Expo, Moscow, Russia
